Today we will learn how to use Vlookup function in MS-Excel.

What is vlookup function and how to use.

Vlookup: Vlookup is look and identify the value from table and select the range of array from another matchback table and select the column no those you want and check the value of True for approximate or false for an exact match.

=Vlookup(lookup_value,table_array,column_index_num,[range_lookup])
1.  lookup_value:-->lookup value
2.  table_array :--> range containing the lookup value
3.  column_index_num:--> The column number in the range containing the return value
4.: [range_lookup]:--> Optionally specify TRUE for approximate match or FALSE for                      an exact match
